Le Pays de la Sagouine is located in Bouctouche just 40 minutes north of Moncton, one hour from the fixed link to Prince Edward Island and 2 1/2 hours south of Caraquet. Created from internationally-renowned Acadian novelist, playwright and author Antonine Maillet's imagination, Le Pays is the island where Acadians celebrate. Characters speak a colourful language rooted in the living Acadian culture. |
